Spanish Language Course Levels

It is important to establish the language level of participants for all Spanish language courses. Before starting a Spanish language course a placement test will be administered; this will determine the suitable group level for each individual.

Spanish Language Course Level A: Even as a beginner Spanish is spoken from the first day forward. Don't worry! Applicants will learn Spanish in a delightfully playful manner. At the end of the Spanish language course, participants will be able to express themselves correctly in general situations. The basic knowledge of the Spanish language will have been acquired.

Spanish Language Course Level B: The main goal is to strengthen and deepen the knowledge of the participants’ grammar in Spanish. Conversation plays an important role. Moreover, participants are already able to understand parts of newspapers, magazines and literary texts as well as discussing them. In this way of learning Spanish, participants improve their capabilities for expressing themselves and improving their vocabulary.

Spanish Language Course Level C: At this level more attention is paid to perfecting grammar. Participants will also start learning the different levels of the Spanish language, for instance: the conversational and written language as well as more technical terminology.

Spanish Language Course Level D: Congratulations to the ones who get to this point or have already reached it! Grammatical and conversational mistakes that "always" occur will be corrected. In our Spanish language courses we strive to perfect your knowledge!

Spanish Language Course - Standard Course:
4 units, each 45 to 55 minutes, 5 days a week. This Spanish language course is ideal for those who want to have enough time to enjoy a holiday. Remember, you also learn Spanish outside of the school! You can practice everywhere and anytime. E.g. in restaurants, bars, during sightseeing or at the beach.

Spanish Language Course -Intensive Course:
6 units, each 45 to 55 minutes, 5 days a week. This Spanish language course is designed for participants who want to learn the language in a short but intensive period of time while still enjoying their holiday.

Spanish Language Course - One on One
Our Spanish language schools also offer Spanish courses on a One on One basis. An individual program can be shaped according to the specific needs of the participant. You can get a "One on One" Spanish course also in combination with a group course.

Spanish Language Course - Standard Course or Intensive Course Plus
In addition to the standard or intensive Spanish language course, participants can attend 3 to 10 weekly lessons of individual training. This is ideal for speeding up the learning process and enabling special themes to be dealt with.

Spanish Language Course - D.E.L.E.
D.E.L.E. "Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera" is the only Spanish certificate for someone whose native tongue is not Spanish. The D.E.L.E. is divided into three levels: the basic level (Inicial), intermediate level (Diploma Básico de Español) and the advanced level (Diploma Superior de Español). You can compare the D.E.L.E. with the "Preliminary English Test", the "First Certificate of Cambridge" as well as the "Proficiency Certificate of Cambridge" in English. Spanish Language Course - Specific Areas / Business Language
The basic requirements, to really take advantage of a special Spanish language course, are an intermediate language knowledge, reasonable fluency, knowledge of the most important grammar rules and an intermediate command of vocabulary.
