The
town of Almuńécar was founded by the Phoenicians two thousand years ago.
It's located 76 km from Granada and 85 km from Malaga in a tropical
valley on the so called "Costa Tropical" where the average temperature
is 18°C during the winter and 26°C during the summer. Fresh fruit such
as bananas and papayas grow here. Almuńécar has a picturesque old town
centre with white houses and small winding lanes of the "Barrio de San
Miguel". The modern part of the small town has been built around this

The

language course institute. The Spanish students stay with carefully
selected host families in single or double rooms with half board.
Laundry is normally free of charge. Living with a Spanish host family is

For
the Spanish Language Course in Almuńécar Sunday is the best day to
arrive. The next airport is Malaga. From there you only need to take a
bus to Almuńécar (departure time from the bus terminal between 8.00 a.m.
and 7.30 p.m.). Therefore your flight should arrive in Malaga before
6.00 p.m. If requested, the Spanish language school offers transfer
service from the airport (EUR 60,00, price not guaranteed, changes
frequently). You will receive more precise information (bus lines,
timetables, maps) with your travel documents after your booking. Once
you have arrived in Almuńécar, you won’t need means of transport to get
around.
You
can organize the flight by yourself. Ideally, the arrival day at the
